Our pet-friendly hotel in the heart of Limerick city is the perfect place to bring your beloved pooch .
When you stay at The Limerick Strand Hotel, your dog is welcome to stay in your room with you.
The Limerick Strand Hotel is located on the banks of the River Shannon, with lots for you to explore with your dog, there are superb walks along the three city bridges
or hop in the car for a short drive and explore the Wild Atlantic Way together.
Our dog-friendly hotel rooms feature food and water bowls, a floor mat and a cosy dog bed for your dog to relax after a day of exploring, shopping and people-watching.
We ask that you take along your own food and make sure all vaccinations are up to date.
We have beautiful outdoor dining options available overlooking the River Shannon for you to enjoy with your four-legged friend. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow dogs in our Bar & Restaurant or our Health Club.
We appreciate that not all of our guests will be animal lovers like us, we ask that your dog should be on a leash at all times whilst not in a bedroom and that you don’t let your dog roam around public areas of the hotel.
We also ask that your dog is not left unattended in bedrooms.
Please note that we only welcome small dogs weighing a maximum of 20kg or measuring up to 15 inches in height and that we have a limit of one dog per room.
